In loving memory of Yves BOURASSA, the family announces his passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Friday, February 9th, 2018. He was the son of the late Henri Rosaire BOURASSA and Evangeline VANNIER. Much loved husband of Janine BOURASSA (nee DAIGLE) of North Bay. Dear father of Sylvie BOURASSA-MUISE (Bob), Roch (Mary) and Stéfan, of Ottawa. Yves will be missed by his grandchildren: Chanelle, Isabelle, Noah, Jacob, Chloë. He is survived by his sister Rachel; predeceased by his sister Françoise BAIN, and brothers René, Hervé, Grégoire, Rodrigue, Jean-Marie and Raymond. Yves retired from the Ontario Public Service after a distinguished 42 year career primarily with the Ministry of Revenue. Yves was a recognized athlete. He was part of the Sturgeon Falls Bombers and a proud inductee into the Sturgeon Falls Sports Hall of Fame. The family will receive friends and family at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, February 17th at 10:00 am. A celebration of life with words of remembrance and prayer will follow at 11:00 am. In memory of Yves, donations can be made to the North Bay Hospital Renal Clinic. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. SHULMAN, Dr. ZIMBALATTI, and staff at the Dialysis Unit of the North Bay Regional Health Centre, for the excellent care and compassion.
