Albini "Beni" Roy - 1927-2020
Passed away peacefully at Falconbridge Extendicare on Friday, June 12th, 2020 at the age of 93. Son of the late Emile Roy and of the late Marie Blanche Roy (née Meilleur). He leaves behind his loving partner of 41 years, Thérèse, his granddaughter Cécile and family, Wally and Liliane. Predeceased by his son Richard and daughter Louise. He will be sadly missed by his daughters Rachelle Cardinal (Gerry), Jacqueline Brett (Barry), Lorraine Roy, Suzanne Boisvenue (Denis) and his sons Dennis Roy (Nancy), François Roy (Lisa), Daniel Roy (Chrissy), Kevin Roy (Sally), twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as family and friends. Survived by his siblings Rejeanne Brennan (Gary), Alice Sauvé, Andre Roy (Estelle) and Venance Roy. Predeceased by his siblings Rose Lamarche, Odile Langlois, Therese Brunet, Cecile Viau, Beatrice Crawford (Les), Oscar, Ovila, Armand Sr, Dan and Jean Baptiste. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Beni has a kind heart and tried to help when he could. He was full of life, always joking and being sarcastic. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, playing bingo, dancing, country music, and going out berry picking. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
