Steinthorson, Allan Grant (1951 - 2021)
The family announces with sorrow his sudden death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday December 11th, 2021 at the age of 70 years. He worked for 47 years at the Spruce Falls Pulp and Paper mill in Kapuskasing. Son of the late Wilmur and of the late Ruth (née Dickerson) Steinthorson. Beloved partner of Lise Lamarche. Loving father of Tracy-Ann Girard (late Don), Wendy-Lee Steinthorson (Clyde Shank), and Connie Steinthorson (Paul Venne). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Hailey, Brody, Braelynn, Huxley and his niece Shannon Kuyt. Dear brother of David (Leeyan). Predeceased by his nephew Ben Kuyt and his late partner Deanna Chartrand Gignac. Allan was wise and loved to share his knowledge with others. He loved boating, fishing, gardening, camping, gathering around a roaring bonfire, and his pets. He also held a special place in his heart for his children, grandchildren, and brother. He will be sadly missed. A celebration of life will be held in January in Kapuskasing. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
