The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Joseph Chartrand and of the late Lorenza Chartrand (née Levack). Wife of the late Joseph McMurray. Dear mother of Anne Lavallée (Jean-Guy) and Lise Watson both of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her daughter Cécile McMurray. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Camille Lavallée, Sylvia Lavallée-Giroux (Miguel Giroux), Steven Watson (Tracey), Michel Watson, Julie Watson (Adam Chambers), her step-granddaughter Anita-Marie Lavallée as well as her great-grandchildren Joëlle Giroux, Émanuelle Giroux, Logan Watson, Keira, Joseph Chambers and Hazel Chambers. Sister of Denise Stewart (Wesley), Laurier Chartrand (Pauline), Marie Fortin (Roland) and Madeleine Labelle (Gilles). Predeceased by her siblings Georges (feu Eva, feu Kay), Albert (Thérèse of Sudbury), Léon (feu Claire), Ernest (Cécile of Worthington), Lucien (Jeanne of Chelmsford) and Diane Brulé (Hector of Sturgeon Falls). The family will receive friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Monday August 5th, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 at 2pm at Sacré-Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls.
