C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille a le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu le 9 décembre 2019 au Centre Elizabeth Bruyère à Ottawa à l`âge de 68 ans. Fille de feu Alfred Poirier et feu Irène Poirier (née Lajeunesse). Elle était la conjointe bien-aimée de Sylvio Lavictoire. Précédée par sa sœur Huguette Rousseau, son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses sœurs Colette (feu Laurier Rousseau) de Verner, Carmen (André Carbonneau), Anita, les deux d’Ottawa et son frère Normand de Sudbury. Chère tante bien-aimée de Natalie Bigras et de Martin Poirier ainsi que leurs enfants. Son décès laisse un grand vide dans la vie de tous ceux et celles qui l’ont connue. Armande a fait sa carrière dans le domaine le l’éducation des petits. Elle a été directrice du Centre éducatif Beausoleil pour la ville d’Ottawa, directrice et éducatrice de la Jardinière Tournesol pour la Ville d’Ottawa et éducatrice au Centre de l’enfant de la basse ville pour la municipalité d’Ottawa/Carleton. La famille recevra parents et amis à l’église Notre Dame de la Visitation, Lavigne, le samedi, 11 janvier 2020 à compter de 10 h. La messe funéraire suivra à 11 h. Au lieu de fleurs, vos marques de sympathie peuvent se traduire à la Société canadienne du Cancer.
It is with great sadness that the family announce her death at the Elizabeth Bruyère Centre in Ottawa on December 9, 2019 at the age of 68 years. Daughter of the late Alfred Poirier and late Irène Poirier (née Lajeunesse). Loving spouse of Sylvio Lavictoire. Preceaded by her sister Huguette Rousseau, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Colette (late Laurier Rousseau) of Verner, Carmen (André Carbonneau), Anita, both from Ottawa and her brother Normand from Sudbury. Loving aunt of Natalie Bigras and Martin Poirier as well as their children. Her death will leave a great void for those who had the honor and privilege of having her in their lives. Armande spent her career in childhood education. She worked as Director of the Centre Éducatif Beausoleil for the City of Ottawa, as Director and Educator of the Jardinière Tournesol for the City of Ottawa and Educator at the Lower Town Child Centre for the Municipality of Ottawa/Carleton. Family and friends will be received at the Notre Dame de la Visitation church, Lavigne, on Saturday January 11th 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society .
