La famille a le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le vendredi 13 octobre 2023 à l’âge de 97 ans. Fille de feu Hervé et de feu Aurore (née Lalonde). Épouse de feu Aurel.
Mère bien aimée de Paul (Joan), Guy (Francine), Suzanne (Claude) et Richard (Claire). Précédée par sa fille Michelle Jackson (Larry). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses 9 petits-enfants, 15 arrière-petits-enfants et 7 arrière-arrière-petits-enfants. Précédée par ses frères et sa sœur Omer (feu Régine), Roland (feu Laurette), Lucien et Yvette Leblanc (Roger).
Son grand amour pour sa famille, son engagement communautaire à la Villa des loisirs pour 33 années, son sens d’organisation et sa grande foi catholique la décrivent bien. La valise toujours prête, son goût de l’aventure et sa curiosité l’ont amenée à d’innombrables voyages.
Une messe funéraire sera célébrée le vendredi 27 octobre à 11h00 à l’église Sacré-Cœur, Sturgeon Falls. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au Salon Théorêt-Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons à la Société canadienne de cancer.
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday October 13, 2023 at the age of 97 years. Daughter of the late Hervé and of the late Aurore (née Lalonde). Beloved wife of the late Aurel. Loving mother of Paul (Joan), Guy (Francine), Suzanne (Claude), and Richard (Claire). Predeceased by her daughter Michelle Jackson (Larry). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sister Omer (late Régine), Roland (late Laurette), Lucien, and Yvette Leblanc (Roger).
Her love for her family, volunteering at the Villa des loisirs for 33 years, and her devotion to the Catholic faith are what best define her as well as what she will be remembered for. With her trusty suitcase at the ready, she was always ready for a new adventure off to experience something new.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at the Sacré-Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday October 27 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
