The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, August 14th, 2022 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Benjamin Barnden and of the late Leota Barnden (née Westlake). Loving husband of Gabrielle Barnden (née Audette). Dear father of Christopher, Brian (Stacey), Lise (Greg), Carole (late Roger), Gisèle and Gail (Mark). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jason (Vanessa), Danny (Trish), Erica (Evan), Geoffrey (Lauren), late Mikayla and Ethan as well as his great-grandchildren Madison, Lucas and Brianna. Brother of Gail (late Jim), Billy (Julie), Bernie (Sharon), Susan (Mark), Cindy (Brad) and Sandy (Darryl). Predeceased by his siblings Pat (late Tom) and Judy (Tim). He also leaves behind his beloved dog Buttons and grand-dogs Dougie and Cheyenne. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 27th 2022 from 3pm to 5pm at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
