The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday March 23rd 2015, at the age of 81 years. Son of the late Wilfrid Benoit and of the late Maria (née Aubry) Benoit. Predeceased by his wife Rita (née Chalifoux) Benoit. Loving father of Denise Benoit (Boots), Suzanne Corbeil (Gilles) both of North Bay, Guy (Lynn) of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren and by his 5 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Fernande Nicoletti-Neher of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his brothers Paul, Arthur, Alphonse, Lionel, Lucien, Roger and by his sisters Rollande Dennie, Alice Goegan and Yvette Ethier. The family will receive friends in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls, Friday March 27th, 2015 after 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated (cheques only).
