Obituary for Dawna Dubuc (Burns)
Dubuc, Dawna Grace (née Burns) (1942 - 2020)
The family announces with sorrow her peaceful death surrounded by family in Crystal Falls, Friday, April 3rd, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife and best friend for over 60 years of Frédéric Dubuc. Her spirit is carried on by her 5 children Eric (Jeanne), Murielle Roach (Gerry), Jacques (Priscilla), Jacqueline Bérubé (Michel) and Micheline Vincent (Brian Woito). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Sister of Deborah Burns.
She was a beautiful soul who will be sorely missed by all who knew her as Mom, Memère and Matante. She was the heart of the family and opened her home to everyone. Our lives were blessed with the privilege of her love, hugs and smiles. Dawna left a trail of beautiful memories in everyone's hearts through cooking, camping or visiting by the campfire.
She was a member of Les Filles d'Isabelle, Crystal Falls, and volunteered for many events in the community.

The family will receive friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday, August 20th 2020 from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral service will follow at 8pm in the funeral home chapel. Due to Covid, masks are mandatory and social distancing measures will be enforced.
The burial of ashes will take place on Friday, August 21st, 2020 at 11am at the Crystal Falls cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
