The family announces with sorrow her death in Verner, Tuesday January 19th, 2021 at the age of 70 years. Daughter of the late Ralph Doucette and of the late Alvina (née Blacquiere) Doucette. Beloved wife of Charles Betts. Loving mother of Katherine Burch (Stephen), Karon O’Shell (Kevin), Tania Gale (Mat), James Betts (Cassandra), and Keysha Sanford (Nathan). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Joseph, Matthew, Kate, Kara and her great grandchildren Noah (predeceased) and Ava. Dear sister of Rose Kilcup (Ron). Predeceased by her siblings Shirley (Gerry), Eleanor, Muriel, and Merrill. Dorothy cherished her family above all. Donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated. The family will have a private Celebration of Life. Arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
