Korell, Eila (née Penttila) 1929 – 2022
The family announces with great sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday August 13, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Daughter of the late Veino and George Penttila. Beloved wife of the late Arvo. Loving mother of Ken (Eileen) and Alan (Angèle). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandson Darryl (Gabriela) and her great granddaughters Sophie and Agatha, and also by her special niece Linda. She served our community as a Girl Guide Leader and Chair of the local Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank Home Care, the West Nipissing General Hospital, and the Au Château for the care she was given by the doctors, nurses, and especially the PSWs. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
