Chartrand, Emma “Léona” (née St. Germain) 1925-2018
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday December 15th, 2018 at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband Roland Chartrand. Beloved mother of Helen Camirand (late Conley) and Lana Philion (Richard Quenneville) both of Thunder Bay. Predeceased by her son Melvin Turner (Maggie of Sturgeon Falls). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Karen, Kim, Kathy, Gary, Melvina, Michael, Kim and Sandra; her great-grandchildren Kristy, Melissa, Kyle, Bradley, Tannisha-Lynne, Conley, Luc, James, Jeffrey, Jessica, James, Erika, Megan, Summerlee, Derek and Michael as well as by her great-great-grandchildren Emily, Connor, Kyle, Talia, Alexa, Jaxson and Frank. Survived by her sister Lucille Browse (late Gordon). Predeceased by her siblings Charman (late Hélène), Lilianne Desbois (late Mose), Valencia Savard (late Richard), Léodé (Denise St. Germain of Levack), Vivianne Mazarolle (late Claude) and Ramona Larocque (late Raymond). The family will receive friends at the Théoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday December 20th from 2-4pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4pm.
