Commanda, Ephrem Emery (1938 - 2020)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, June 22 2020, at the age of 82 years. Son of the late John Commanda and of the late Anastasia (née Stevens) Commanda. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Gertrude Fisher, Madeline McLeod, Leona Moore, Ruby Greene, and Daniel Commanda. Predeceased by his siblings Eileen, Georgina, Norma, Morris, Audrick, Amilia, Elizabeth, and Molly. Ephrem loved to travel and loved playing golf. Ephrem was probably best known for picking blueberries every year that he could. He was loved by his family and friends as well the Garden Village community. His family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North, West Nipissing General Hospital, and North Bay Regional Health Center for the compassion and care he was given. The family will receive friends and family for visitation at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday June 26, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday June 2, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
