Obituary for Eric Desjardins
Desjardins, Eric (1984-2019)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Eric on Tuesday, July 30th, 2019, surrounded by his family at North Bay Regional Health Center at the age of 35 years. Dearly loved by his parents Ginette Renaud (friend Larry) and Rejean Desjardins (Barbara). He was also loved by his many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
Eric fought many health issues throughout his life but found strength, humour and friendship throughout his ordeals. He loved sports, particularly hockey, fishing, hunting and also enjoyed cooking shows. He loved to talk about it all.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation with the family will be held August 10th, 2019 at 10:30am at Notre-Dame des Victoires Church, Field. Funeral mass will follow at 11:00am.
As per Eric’s wishes, donations to the Hospital for Sick Kids foundation would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the Critical Care Unit at the NBRHC for their excellent care and compassion as well as Phara.
