Gervais, Flore (née Fournier) 1940 - 2021
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Flore Gervais (Fournier) on April 19, 2021 at the age of 80 years.
Flore passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She is now at peace and reunited with her late Husband Oscar Gervais. Flore was the beloved Mother of Ronald of Sturgeon Falls, Joanne Bangs (Brian) of Limoges, Bernadette Howald (Charles) of Verner, Irene Labelle (Gabriel) of Hanmer, Michel (Delores) of Newfoundland, Rene (Marie) and Robert (Cory) both of Sturgeon Falls.
Flore was the cherished Memere of Ginette (Dwayne), Angele (Marc), Donna (Josh), Melanie (Emile), Michelle (Rheal), Christopher, Julie (Frank) and Patrick (Derek). Flore was the Treasured Great Grandmother to Nickolas (Kaitlynn), Victoria (Josh), Emilie, Jeremi, Alexandra, Atlas, Kloe, Dominick, Calim, Kayleigh, and was the incredibly special Great Great Grandmother of Erika, Adaline, and Michael.
Sister of Fernande, Albert both deceased and Yolande Brown.
Flore was blessed with the love of so many in life, including her companion Lionel(deceased).
Flore was loved by many and will be missed by so many. She was an avid fan of the Habs and never missed a game. She will be fondly remembered for, sharing her love of baking and canning preserves, her love of country music and her cheeky grin when winning the pot when playing cards. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. There is a great void left in our family – she was the Matriarch however the family will find solace in knowing she is reunited with her Husband and Mother Bernadette.
