Obituary for Gary Brian Piche

Piché, Gary (1960-2020)

The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Thursday, June 25th 2020, at the age of 60 years. Son of the late Roland Piché and of Liliane (née Roberge) Piché-Godfroid. Dear brother of Lynn (Michel) and stepbrother of Allyson Godfroid-Fitzpatrick (Shawn). Predeceased by his brother Marc Piché and his stepfather Lucien Godfroid. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nephew Scott D’Aoust, niece Kimberly D’Aoust, great aunt Annette Roberge and many cousins and friends. Gary grew up in Elliot Lake and was an avid hockey player. After a 30 year career with Enercare in the Fort Erie area, Gary retired in Sturgeon Falls where he enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and golfing. Visitation will be held at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Friday July 3, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday July 4, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of life in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sacré-Coeur construction project. The family is especially grateful to everyone for their support and donations.
