The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Friday June 7, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Joseph Guillemette and of the late Amanda Castonguay. Husband of the late Francoise (Lesaux) Guillemette. Dear father of Diane Théoret (Gerry ) of Verner and of Steven of Lavigne. Also survived by his brothers and sisters Yvette, Raymond, Jeanne Mance, Maurice, Alyre (Marlene), Clément (Romance), Jacques (Pat), Denise, Jeanne D’Arc. Predeceased by Cécile, Jean, Guy, Noel, Laurent, Harvey, Marcel, and Bob. Gaëtan was a master carpenter with a reputation for excellence in his work. He was a worker who had a reputation for his value of perfection in his work. The family will receive friends and family at the Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be celebrated Friday, June 14 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
