Pomerleau-Carrière, Georgette (née Bouthillier) 1943 - 2023
Georgette Pomerleau-Carrière passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Friday, May 26th 2023 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Bouthillier and of the late Germaine Bouthillier (née Gaudreault). She has left behind her husband Jean-Marie Carrière, her daughters Ginette (Jeff), Lise (Larry), Debbie (Guy) and Angel. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jesse, Joey, Renée, James, Adam, Samantha-Joe and Emma as well as her great-grandchildren Jacob, Dawson, Ellie, Logan and Lily. Also greatly missed by her step-children Monique (Paul) and Vincent (Christina) and her step-grand-children Yanick, Martin, Nicholas, Ryan, Hanna and Sébastien. Sister of Georges (Simone), Roger (Gisèle) and Pauline Burwick. Predeceased by her siblings Rita Lavoie (Louis) and Lucien (late Judy). Georgette will be forever remembered for her joy for life and the love she had for her family. The family will receive friends at St David Church on Friday, June 2nd 2023 from 1pm to 3pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 3pm. Cremation arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated.
