Duhaime, Geraldine 1951-2020
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Geraldine at her residence in River Valley on Monday, August 17th, 2020 at the age of 68 years. Beloved daughter of Moise Duhaime (predeceased 1998) and of Alma Duhaime (predeceased 2005). Dear sister of Guy (predeceased 2019) wife Betty, Gilles (predeceased 1957), Aurel (predeceased 2000) wife Valerie, Claire (husband Marcel), Real (wife Iris) and Raynald (wife Paulie). Cherished aunt to: Sheri, Trevor, Jody, Ryan, Jill and Julie. Although having physical challenges, Geraldine enjoyed life listening to her music, collecting dolls and angels, making puzzles, crafting Christmas ornaments, making her own special occasion cards and going to restaurants. For many years, her dog Queenie was her trusted companion. She enjoyed visits from family and friends which gave her the opportunity to chat. Since moving to River Valley, Geraldine depended greatly on Claire's faithful care. The family will receive friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Sunday, August 23rd 2020 at 2pm for a celebration of life. Due to current guidelines, face masks are mandatory. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
