Predeceased by her siblings Gladys Goulais, Raymond, and Gary.

Our dear Geraldine was a strong and wonderful Mother, Grandma and sister to many, who all have nothing but loving stories, many smiles, and gratitude to have been blessed with her in their lives. She made many lifelong friends throughout her travels far and wide to countless pow-wows and craft shows, sharing her beautiful highly sought after creations made through her talent of sewing and beading. For many years she loved playing bingo. Countless hours were spent dabbing away at bingo parlours, waiting for that elusive number to be called so she could yell her favorite word. To see her play was a sight, as not many people could believe how many cards she was playing at once. A true professional 🙂 Visiting casinos was one of her favorite pastimes. She always looked forward to her travels to Las Vegas and she loved to travel down to her favorite spot to play; Kewadin. She loved to shop, always up for finding a great deal, spending most of her time looking for gifts for others rather than herself. Her sharp one-liners will be missed by her family, friends and the many who got the chance to spend time chatting with her throughout the years. Her craftwork will continue to give us something to smile about, her mitts will continue to keep our hands warm and her moccasins will continue to provide comfort for all of us.

The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls on Wednesday, January 31 from 2:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home. Burial at Dokis First Nation on Saturday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. with a light luncheon to follow at the Dokis Complex. Donations in memory of Geraldine may be made to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
