The family announces with sorrow her death in North Bay, Sunday, November 24th, 2019 at the age of 82 years. Daughter of the late Théophile Gagnon and of the late Jeanne Gagnon (née St-Amour). Loving wife of the late René Robert. Dear mother of Richard (Shirley), Rachel (Brian) and Gaetan (Louise). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Sister of Agnès Gagnon, Gérard Gagnon (Marguerite) Guy Gagnon and Estelle Breton (Guy). Predeceased by her siblings Thérèse Lapalme, Marie-Blanche Morissette, Jean-Paul Gagnon, Suzanne Paquin, Isabelle Cazabon, Roland Gagnon, Lucien Gagnon, Lucienne Hébert, Françoise Duclos, Noël Gagnon and Yollande Courville. Also survived by her great friend Fred Audet.The family will receive friends at St Jean Baptiste Church, Verner on Saturday, November 30th 2019, from 10 to 11am. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11am. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the nursing staff and pharmacists of the NBRHC 3rd floor Palliative Care Unit and PSW (Simon, Steve, Lise and Joyce) for their compassionate and loving care to ensure her utmost comfort. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
