The family announces with sorrow his death at Au Chateau in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday February 16, 2022 at the age of 98 years. Son of the late Thomas and of the late Maria (née Fortin) Marion. Beloved Husband of the late Cécile (née Thibeault) Marion. Loving Father of Paulette Smith (Donald), Jean (Rachel), Denis (Maureen), Diane Legge (Kevin), Joanne Desloges (Fred), and Claudette Marion (Mark Vachon). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Michael, Josette, David, Anne, Patrick, Matthew, Shannon, Russell, Daniel, Jim, his 23 great-grandchildren and his 1 great-great-grandchild. Dear brother of Rejeanne Borg (Tony) and Gisèle Lecour (Barry). Predeceased by his daughter Lise Marion as well as his siblings Tom (late Jeanne), Richard (late Marita), Yollande Fleming (late Richard), Huguette Bérubé (late Eugène), and Claude (late Betty). As per the family's wishes, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
