The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 at the age of 91 years. Daughter of the late Cornelius Zeitz and of the late Bernice Zeitz (née Mercer). Wife of the late Albert Bertrand. Dear mother of Roland (Terry), Rita Goulais (Gary), Theresa Pleau (Malcolm), and Stanley (Jacqueline). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Sister of Rosa and Fern. Predeceased by her siblings Vern, Ted, Charles, Bernard, Melvin, Ray and Bertha. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Doctor Bourgault and Kathy as well as the staff of the West Nipissing General Hospital for their loving care of Mom. As per Iyla's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Funeral arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home.
