My deepest condolences to the Racine family. It is with a very heavy and sad heart I write this. Mr. Racine was like a second father to me and my sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Racine were my parents (Dot and Gerry Beauvais) best friends for many years. One of the most treasured stories I remember is when my parents were building our house and Mr. Racine came over carrying a pot of coffee in one hand and a hammer in the other. He said; Hi my name is John and my wife's name is Mary. The pot of coffee is from Mary, and the hammer from me, I don't know how to use it, but I am here to help. I believe our parents are finally all together again and are having a great time playing cards. I am very sorry I will not be able to come to Sturgeon Falls for the funeral, as I am in Fla. for the next couple of months. I will miss him terribly. My sisters will say goodbye for me.
