On January 10th, 2020, our beautiful Joyce Rivet (née Jodouin) received her well deserved angel wings. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years Richard, her sons Chad (Janis), Blair (Jessica) and her granddaughter Brooke whom she so loved. Joyce will also be dearly remembered by her sisters Judy (Louis Coutu), Jo Anne (Kevin Smith) and Rhonda Jodouin. Dear sister in law to Leonard Rivet (Lise), Joanne Serré (Jean-Guy) and Annabelle Michaud (Jean Guy, predeceased). She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Joyce was predeceased by her twin sisters Lise and Louise and her brother Yvon.

Joyce was born to Raymond and Stella Jodouin (née Rivet) (both predeceased), on June 19, 1954. Raised in Crystal Falls, this is where she met and married her soul mate Richard. Settling and spending most of her life in Chelmsford, Joyce worked at Inco for over 35 years and with Richard, raised their two sons. Upon retiring, they relocated to Sturgeon Falls to be closer to family. Joyce’s greatest joy was being a wife, mother and memère.

The family wishes to thank all those who helped Joyce through her 5 long years of battle with cancer. Your kindness will always be remembered.

As per Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A special mass and Celebration of Life will occur at a future date.
