Domonsky, Eliette "Lil" (née Robineau) 1927 - 2021
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Daughter of the late Almadie Robineau and of the late Léonie Robineau (née Laframboise). Dear mother of Sharon Head (late David). Predeceased by her sons Brian (Sheila) and David (Cheryl). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Aldé (late Adela), Adela (late Donat Lebrun), Léodé (late Gert), Floria (late Ed Hillier), Yvette (late Roger Brunet) (late Steve Walchuck), Armande (late Fred Prey) (late Tony Riva) (late Ken Merchant), Florian (late Rita), Laurian (Constance), and Lauria (late Alfred Stevens).
Known for her beautiful blue eyes, Lil was profoundly loving towards her children and grandchildren. She was a kind and wonderful lady who touched many lives. She may not have had an easy life, but she persevered and spread joy and positivity around her. In the depths of both of her son's battles with cancer, she stood strong. She also took great pride in her little red Sunfire that she drove around town.
The family would like to thank the staff at Au Chateau for all the love, care and compassion shown to our mother and grandmother. Whenever family visited, they were always welcomed.
Due to pandemic conditions, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to Au Château would be appreciated.
