Obituary for Kathie Cohen (Kyle)
Cohen, Kathie (née Kyle) 1936 – 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathie Lillian Cohen (née Kyle) announce her peaceful passing on Friday, October 27, 2023, at The North Bay General Hospital.
Kathie will be lovingly remembered by her three sons; Kyle, Derek (Deb), Michael (Kim); grandchildren Sarah, Emily, Charleigh and Wyatt. Missed by close friends Chantel and Mick Mactermera and close cousin Gloria Brousseau as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Kathie was predeceased by her husband Stanley Cohen and her parents, Kay and Burke (Buck) Kyle.
Born and raised in North Bay, Ontario. She attended St. Joseph's Catholic Girls School and later worked for several years in insurance where she established many long-term relationships. She also had a flair for baking and cooking. Her door was always open with a warm and welcoming invitation to the dinner table. Her sense of the needs of others and her devotion to her family will remain with all of us.
A service to celebrate the life of Kathleen Lilian Cohen will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
