The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday, August 12th, 2022 at the age of 77 years. Son of the late Ovila Desjardins and of the late Noëlla Desjardins (née Gladu). Loving husband of June Desjardins (née Scott). Dear father of Emily (Ray) and of the late Brian. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Andrew, Jeffery (Jaime), his great-grandchildren Ella-Rae and Oaklynn, as well as his many nieces and nephews Raymond, Ricky (Debbie), Bryan, Nikki, Christopher and Richard. Brother of Roger (Claudette), Ernest (Sylvia) and Hélène (Pierre). Lionel was a transport driver since the age of 16 years and took pride in his work. In respecting Lionel's wishes, no services will be held. Cremation arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
