Simon, Lorraine (née Roy) 1933 - 2020
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Aldège Roy and of the late Alberta Roy (née Dupuis). Wife of the late Jean-Paul Simon. Dear mother of Diane Gervais, Denis Simon (Rita), Lynn Robert, Nicole Beaudry (Jean-Paul), Louise Laforge (Monty) and Carmen Côté (Matthew). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 17 grandchildren, her 22 great-grandchildren and her great-great-grandchild. Sister of Roma Roy. Predeceased by her 19 brothers and sisters. Heartfelt thanks are extended to the staff at Au Château for the care and compassion shown to Lorraine and her family during her final moments. The family will receive friends at Théorêt Bourgeois Funeral Home, Warren, Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. A memorial service will be follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:30 pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
