The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday October 28, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Daughter of the late John and of the late Annie (née Stevens) Commanda. Beloved wife of Homer. Dear mother of Raymond (Natalie) and Peter. Predeceased by her son Denis. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Angela, Jacqueline (Corey) and by her great-grandchildren Kaysie and Olivier. Dear sister of Gertrude Fisher (late Joseph), Danny, Leona Moore (Stanley), and Ruby Green. Predeceased by her siblings Norma Miner (late Romeo), Amelia Blaker (late Clarence), Ordrick, Emphrem, Eileen Stark (Charlie), Elizabeth Commanda, Molly Elder (late Ron), and Morris (June). The family will receive friends at the Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village, On Monday October 31 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. A mass of Christian burial will be held at the Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village on Tuesday, November 1 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
