The family announces with sorrow his death in Toronto, Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at the age of 13 years. Beloved son of Wayne Lariviere and of Wendy Lariviere (née Goulais). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandmother Marjorie Goulais (Roy) and his Anishinabe grandparents Peter & Debbie Beaucage. Predeceased by his grandparents Alphonse and Claire Lariviere and Benjamin Goulais. Dear brother of Shawn Marier, Cody Lariviere, Logan Lariviere and Mercedes Boyer. Lovingly remembered by his nephews Patrick, Anthony and Jonathan as well as his niece Jazzmynn.
He will also be missed by numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins. His very precious friends Bob (the dog) and Moo (the cat) will forever search for their best friend and master. Makenzy was a grade 8 student at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Sturgeon Falls. The family will receive friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Wednesday, March 23rd 2022 from 2pm to 9pm. Traditional ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 24th, at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home at 11am. Donations to the SickKids Foundation or Northern Ontario Families of Children with Cancer would be appreciated.
