The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, April 15th, 2020 at the age of 65 years. Daughter of the late Theodore Stewart and of the late Phylis Stewart (née Burton). Loving wife of Alfred Carswell. Dear mother of Cheryl Carswell (Denis Lalonde), Barbara Carswell-Danis (James) and Kevin Carswell (Andrea). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brianna, Lucan, Amanda, Steven, Jessica, Samantha, Maya, Tiana, Isaac, Makayla and Tyson as well as her soon-to-arrive great-grandchild Dominic. Sister of Maureen Harvey, Rosemary Cowan, John Stewart, Murray Stewart, Kelly Stewart, Troy Stewart, Patsy Carswell-Stewart, Rollande Daoust, Sandra Stewart, Jennifer Carrier and Kathy Claveau. Also survived by her mother-in-law Rollande Carswell as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law Fernand Lapointe, Jacqueline Desroches, Doris Soulière, Marguerite Stewart, Albert Carswell, Lynda Beauparlant, Robert Carswell, Merissa Lachapelle, Réné Carswell, and Patrick Carswell. Cremation arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
