The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, April 3rd, 2023 at the age of 89 years. Loving daughter of the late Ioleen Blair and of the late Clinton Blair. Predeceased by her birth parents Oliver Badgerow and Edna Badgerow (born Nelson). Loving wife of the late Lloyd Carmichael. Dear mother of Sheron Côté (Gilles). Predeceased by her son Thomas. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Crystal (Stéphan Poulin) and Lana (Denis Pelletier) as well as her great-grandchildren Scott Poulin, Bianca Poulin, Zoé Pelletier and Cassy Pelletier. She is survived by her sisters Agnes and Shirley as well as her extended family and foster siblings Donald Blair, Neil Blair, and Joan Blair. Predeceased by her siblings Marjorie, Evelyn, Alice, Gladys, Gerald and Robert as well as her foster sister Ellen Soloy. She also leaves behind her loving brothers and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces and nephews of the Carmichael family. Marion was a longtime resident of Warren and will be fondly remembered by those who knew her. A special thank you to staff at West Nipissing General hospital for the excellent care provided. The family will receive friends at the Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Monday, April 10th 2023 from 10am. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 12:30pm. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.
