The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Monday, March 21st, 2022 at the age of 96 years. Daughter of the late Alexander Dokis and of the late Annie Dokis (née Goulais). Loving wife of the late St. Clair Dokis. Dear mother of James Dokis Sr. (Josephine Lafleche), St.Clair Gary Dokis (Robin), Kenneth Dokis (Judy Manitowabi), Grant Dokis (Francine), Felix Dokis (Laurie Miller) and Chris Dokis (Annelise). Predeceased by her son Larry Dokis. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Pamela (Yvan), Damien (Kristin), Evania (Jon), James Jr. (Emily), Mitchell (Kerry Lynn), Nolan (Aireal), Ross (Danika), Lina (Dennis), Janna (Keaton), Carter, Kyle (Whitney) and Keenan as well as her great-grandchildren Trena (Michel), Draven, Kassey, Maximus and Josh (Jasmine) and her great-great-grandchildren Jaedyn and Lexa. Predeceased by her grandchild Kendrick. Sister of George Dokis and Catherine Dokis. Predeceased by her siblings Louise Burton, Agnes Dokis, Bert Dokis, David Dokis, Bridgette Dokis and Gertrude Dokis. She will be missed by her beloved pomeranian Wagoosh. The family will receive friends at the Michael "Aigle" Dokis Community Complex, Dokis First Nation, Thursday, March 24th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to11:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Michael "Aigle" Dokis Community Complex, Dokis First Nation, on Friday, March 25th, 2022 at 11:00 am. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital (Long Term Care) would be appreciated.
