The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, March 15th, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Xavier Dokis and of the late Madeleine Dokis (née Steven). Wife of the late Albert Therrien. Dear mother of George Commanda (late Louise), David Commanda (Cheryl), Robert Commanda (Suzanne), John Commanda (Francine), Dale Commanda (Maryse), Bruce Therrien (Debbie), Tina Larivière (Brian), Paul Therrien (Natasha), Andrew Therrien, late Pauline Leblanc (late Normand), late Marc Therrien (Maria), James Therrien, and Timothy Therrien (Charlene). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 35 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Dickson, Rudolph Dokis (late Madeleine), and Veronica Dokis. Predeceased by her siblings Bob (Dorothy), Bernadette Goulais (late Bill), Francis and Edmond (late Dorothy). The family will receive friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday, March 19th, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 20th, 2020 at 11 am. If you exhibit cold or flu like symptoms, please do not present yourself at the funeral home.
