The richest man in the world passed away in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 at the age of 93. Son of, the late, Moise Gervais and Cecile Gervais (née Pilon). Predeceased by his wife, Simone Gervais (née Ouellette). Best Dad to Claudette (Victor), Noëlla (Pascal), Lorraine, Diane (Darrell), Lise (Pierre), Gerald (Helene), Linda and Ginette (Carl). Greatest Pepère to Andrée, Jocelyne, Maurice, Sylvie, Cindy, Denis, Natalie, Luc, Matthew, Stéphane, Carmen (predeceased), Raymond (predeceased), Michel, Wayne, Roxanne, Tammy, Natasha, Brittany, Roman and Allison; as well as his 29 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandson Axel. Survived by his brothers Ronald and René, and his sisters Angéline, Fernande and Adeline.
Dad always said he was a rich man because of his children and grandkids.
Cremation arrangements in care of Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. No visitation. A celebration of life will be held at Verner cemetery, at a later date. Donations to the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba (cancer care).
