The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Wednesday September 9, 2020 at the age of 65 years. Son of the late Florent Lelièvre and of the late Rose-Yvonne Lelièvre (née Côté). Husband of the late Isabelle Lelièvre (née Richer). Dear father of Jocelyne Fournier (Luc) and Alain Lelièvre. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Danielle, Jasmine, Danika and Tyler. Maurice is also survived by his brothers and sisters Réjeanne Lafleur (Roger), Jeannine Lockhart, Fernand (Aline), Albert (Dianne), Monique and Marcel (Nancy). Predeceased by his brother Roland (Louise). Maurice was a skilled carpenter whose craftsmanship was appreciated by his many customers and friends. The family will receive friends at St. Jacques Church, Hanmer, Friday September 18, 2020 after 10:30. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11:15 am. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated. Due to pandemic conditions, masks must be worn at all times at church.
