Mageau, Raymonde (née Leblanc) 1938 – 2021
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Friday,August 13th, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late Lionel and of the late Laurette (née Seguin) Leblanc. Wife of the late Marc Mageau. Loving mother of Mariette Valade (John), Andrée Mageau (Léo), Carole Vanclieaf (Brian), Joanne Leblanc (John), and Guy Mageau (Vivianne). Raymonde loved her 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and she cherished her time with them. Predeceased by her siblings Michel (late Monique) and Jeannot. Among her hobbies she enjoyed gardening, sewing, wood carving, and camping. Raymonde was a very distinguished and classy person. She always made sure that she looked her best when in public or in private. A heart felt thank you to the West Nipissing General Hospital Long-Term Care nursing and support staff for the excellent care provided to our mother. The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Thursday, August 19th from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:15 a.m. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (Au Pavillion) would be appreciated.

Raymonde adorait ses 10 petits-enfants et ses 18 arrière-petits-enfants et elle chérissait son temps avec eux. Prédécédée par ses frère Michel (feu Monique) et Jeannot. Parmi ses passe-temps, elle aimait le jardinage, la couture, la sculpture sur bois et le camping. Raymonde était une personne très distinguée. Elle s'assurait toujours d'être à son meilleur en public ou en privé. Un grand merci au personnel infirmier et de soutien des soins de longue durée de l'Hôpital général de Nipissing Ouest pour les excellents soins prodigués à notre mère. La famille recevra des amis au Salon Théorêt-Bourgeois le jeudi 19 août à 10h00 à 11h00 suivi par un service funéraire dans le chapelle au salon. que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons au Fondation du l'Hôpitale General de Ouest Nipissing (Au Pavillion).
