La famille à le regret de vous annoncer son décès survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le mardi 20 juillet 2021 à l’âge de 84 ans. Fils de feu Joseph et feu Henriette (née Primeau) Robert. Époux de Rita (née Fortin) Robert. Père bien aimé de Nicole Legault (Guy) et Renald Robert (Joanne). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Natalie, Christiane, Melanie, Josée et Maxim ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Karine, Xavier, Alexi, Thomas, Laurent, Catherine et Claire. Frère de Aline Robert (Henri) et Françoise Graveline (feu Gilles). Prédécédé par son frère Gaetan. Rene était un père généreux et un grand-pere chaleureux qui était heureux lorsqu’il se retrouvait en famille. Il aimait rire et faire rire les autres. Il sculptait le bois habilement, et était un amateur de golf. La famille recevra parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Théorêt-Bourgeois le vendredi 23 juillet de 15h00 à 16h00. Le service funéraire suivra dans la chapelle du salon funéraire. La famille tient à remercier le personnel du deuxième étage et des soins palliatifs d’Au Chateau pour leur dévouement et les excellents soins prodigués.
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday July 20th, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Joseph and of the late Henriette (née Primeau) Robert. Beloved husband of Rita (née Fortin) Robert. Loving father of Nicole Legault (Guy) and Renald Robert (Joanne). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Natalie, Christiane, Melanie, Josée and Maxim as well as his great grandchildren Karine, Xavier, Alexi, Thomas, Laurent, Catherine, and Claire. Brother of Aline Robert (Henri) and Françoise Graveline (late Gilles). Predeceased by his brother Gaetan. Rene was a generous father and a warmhearted grandfather. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. A skilled wood sculptor, Rene also enjoyed a casual game of golf. The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home on Friday, July 23rd from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff on the second floor and the palliative care team at Au Château for the excellent care provided.
