Obituary for Rev. Gabriel Beaulieu

Beaulieu, Rev. Mr. Gabriel, p.d. (1940-2021)

The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death at home in Alban, Wednesday March 24th, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Son of the late Eugène Beaulieu and of the late Alice Rancourt. Loving husband of Olga Beaulieu (née Savage), for 50 beautiful years. Dear father of Loi Chau (Jenny) and Thong Vy (Le); will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Chaufa and Lucky, Dalena and Daniel, as well as Lyon and Louis. Gabriel is also survived by his two sisters and was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Ordained as a permanent deacon in the diocese of Sault Ste. Marie on February 22nd 1985 by Bishop Gérard Dionne, Deacon Gabriel served at Paroisse St. Jean de Brébeuf in Sudbury, St Christopher in Whitefish and the former Paroisse St. Eugène, Sudbury. In retirement, Gabriel and Olga worshipped at Paroisse Notre Dame de Lourdes in Alban. Deacon Gabriel leaves us a strong legacy of faith, hope and charity. Due to pandemic conditions, a funeral mass will be celebrated at a later date. Cremation services in care of Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
