The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday December 29, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Calixte Galipeau and of the late Adélina Larocque. Wife of the late Edward Leblanc. Loving mother of Richard (Irene) of Penetanguishene, Gérald (Marilyn) and Carl (Brigitte) both of Sturgeon Falls, Denise (Stuart MacPherson) of Orléans and Guy (Denise) of Jacksonville Florida. Rhéa will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 11 grandchildren and by her 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Alex, Rodolphe, Oscar and by her sisters Florence and Alice. Rhéa worked for many years alongside her husband Edward as owners and operators of Leblanc Decorating Center. She was a lifetime member of Les Filles D’Isabelle and a member of Les Chatelaines. The Leblanc family will receive friends at Église Sacré Coeur, Sturgeon Falls, Saturday January 26 2019 after 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff at Au Château for the excellent, loving care provided to Rhéa and her family.
