Il était le fils de Jean Arcand et de Laura Arcand Renaud (née Plouffe). Il laisse dans le deuil sa mère Laura, ses sœurs Suzanne (Charles Bouvier) et Marie, son frère Georges (Jean Salvas), son neveu Marc, sa nièce Isabelle, son filleul Emrick, ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs; les enfants de Fernand Renaud. Yvon, Irene, Rheal, Pauline, Diane, Marcel, Normand, Lise, Laurent, Denis, Patrick, Estelle ainsi que ses amis.

Born in Cache Bay, Ontario, he was the son of Jean Arcand and Laura Arcand-Renaud (née Plouffe). He leaves behind in grief his mother Laura, his sisters Suzanne (Charles Bouvier) and Marie, his brother Georges (Jean Salvas), his nephew Marc, his niece Isabelle, his godchild Emrick, his step-siblings (children of Fernand Renaud), Yvon, Irene, Rheal, Pauline, Diane, Marcel, Normand, Lise, Laurent, Denis, Patrick, Estelle as well as many loving friends.
