Beaudette, Ronald (1945 – 2022)
The family announces with sorrow his peaceful passing with his wife Shirley and children by his side after a long and courageous battle of 16 years with cancer in Sturgeon Falls, Thursday May 12, 2022 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Aurèl and of the late Rhèa (née Aubertin) Beaudette and beloved husband of Shirley (née Lajeunesse) Beaudette, all of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children Terry Ron Beaudette of Calgary and Sandra Lynn Diabaté (Stam) of Sturgeon Falls, and by his grandchildren Kyle Verhoeven (Sudbury), Brook Verhoeven (Ottawa), and Amber Verhoeven (Sudbury). Survived by his brother Jean-Guy (Karren) and Louise Goulard (Paul). Predeceased by his sister Jackie Pretty (Tom). He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Ron was an avid fisherman who also loved going to Tomiko to hunt and to golf with his family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Katsuno, the VON, Para-Med, his caseworker Lauri-Lee Taylor, and the many others who assisted Ronald and his family during his long battle with cancer. A private celebration of life will be held at his family’s residence on June 11, 2022. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
