It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved friend Shawn Rogers on June 5th, 2023 in Lavigne, ON.
Born on August 29th, 1956, Shawn graced this world with his warm and compassionate presence. He was a dedicated Dofasco employee, avid Tiger-Cats fan, and valued Hillman Road Recipe Club member. You could often find Shawn tending to his property overlooking Lake Nipissing, grilling up a feast, or singing along to the music, always with a four-legged companion by his side.
He will be deeply missed and remembered for his easygoing personality and the profound impact he made on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Forever cherished as a son to the late Harold and Lorraine, Brother to Brent (Anne), Uncle to Adam and Hayley, Stepdad to Abbie (Brad) and Kimmy, JaJa to Soleil and Selene.
A close friend to Fred (Nancy), Freddie (Erin), Kate (Derek), John (Kathy), Cleo (Tracy), Ken (Pierrette), Diane (and the late Marcel), who have all been touched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
Though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
