C'est avec tristesse que la famille annonce le décès de Siméon Rochon survenu le 28 février 2024 à l'âge de 90 ans à Sturgeon Falls. Mari bien-aimé d'Yvette Rochon (née Tétreault). Fils de feu Louis Rochon et de feu Rose (Simon) Rochon. Père bien-aimé de Richard (Monique), Ginette et Gérald. Siméon rejoint sa chère fille Reina Carr (Dave). Son souvenir restera grave dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Michelle, Christian, Daniel, Melissa, Chantal, Tina, Cathy, ses nombreux arrière-petits-enfants, cousins, cousines, nièces, neveux, et ami(e)s.
Cher frère de Marie-Ange Bertrand (Roland), Claude (Rachelle), Rose-Mai Pigeon (Gilbert), et ses belles-sœurs Solange et Fernande. Prédécédé par ses frères Armand, Gérard, Yvon et Adrien.
Siméon était un grand travaillant qui aimait jardiner, la fabrication de maisons d'oiseaux, la pêche et jouer de la guitare et le violon. Il aimait voyager avec sa femme Yvette et les moments précieux passé avec sa famille.
Une messe funéraire aura lieu le samedi 6 avril 2024 à 10h00 à l’église Sacré-Cœur, Sturgeon Falls. Les arrangements funéraires sont confiés au Salon Funéraire Théorêt-Bourgeois, Sturgeon Falls. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons à la Fondation du Cœur et l’AVC ou à l’Hôpital Général de Nipissing Ouest.
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Siméon Rochon on February 28th 2024 at the age of 90 in Sturgeon Falls. Beloved husband of Yvette Rochon (nee Tétreault). Son of the late Louis Rochon and the late Rose (nee Simon). Beloved father of Richard (Monique), Ginette and Gérald. Siméon is reunited with his cherished daughter Reina Carr (Dave). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Michelle, Christian, Daniel, Melissa, Chantal, Tina, Cathy, by his many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Dear brother of Marie-Ange Bertrand (Roland), Claude (Rachelle), Rose-Mai Pigeon (Gilbert), and his two sisters-in-law Solange and Fernande. Predeceased by his brothers Armand, Gérard, Yvon, and Adrien.
Siméon was a hard worker and had a passion for gardening, building bird houses, fishing and playing music. He enjoyed travelling with his better-half Yvette and all of the precious moments spent with his family.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on April 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacré-Coeur church, Sturgeon Falls. Funeral arrangements in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon falls. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the West Nipissing General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
