The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Friday January 15, 2021 at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Evan Hopkins and of the late Elsie Hopkins. Beloved husband of Deborah Hopkins (née Richer). Loving father of Keith Hopkins (Tracy) and Scott Hopkins (Ashley). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Auroara and Braidyn. Dear brother of Betty O’Driscoll (Tony), Gale Ruth, Sandra Whitehead (late Warren), Patricia Hay, Robin Hopkins, and Karen Robinson (Robert). Predeceased by his sister Donna Hopkins and his brother Terry Hopkins. Well known for his happy demeanor by his many friends, Stephen could be found helping with the Canadian Legion, branch #225 where he was very involved and had held many positions before retiring. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Legion, branch #225 would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls.
