Martin, Thomas (1958 - 2023)
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Son of the late Benjamin Martin and of the late Winnifred Martin. Loving husband of Diane Martin (née Roling). Dear father of Tom Martin (Rochelle), James Martin (Catherine), Jacob Martin (Jessica), Joshua Martin, Joshua Scott and Zach Scott. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Svetlana, Scarlett, Benjamin, Alexis, Oliver and Bailee . Brother of David Martin, Sheila Robertson, Nora Conrad (Bob), Joe Martin (Sue), Mike Martin (Susan) and Paul Martin. Predeceased by his sister Mary Pruder.
Tom passed peacefully amidst the love of family and friends following a short but courageous battle with cancer. he wanted to thank everyone for being a part of his life. Together with his family members and friends his life was full of adventure and took many different roads. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and wildlife photography. He will be remembered as being outspoken, gruff sounding but truly kind, fun loving, funny, sarcastic and for his love of life. He made everyone around him laugh. He also encouraged everyone to become better.
There will be a celebration of Tom's life at a later date.
