Lavigne, Thérese Helene Marie (née Ratelle) (1931-2023)
It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother Thérese Lavigne at the age of 91 years old. She passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2023 at the West Nipissing General Hospital, surrounded by her children. Born December 13th, 1931, beloved daughter of late Napoleon Ratelle and Marie-Rose Ricard, sister of Rita Lefebvre, wife of late Armand Lavigne and mother of eight children, Rosa (Jim), Francoise (late Richard), Maurice, Jacques (Louise), Georgette (late Marcel) and pre deceased by her children Francois, Fernande and Claudette (Gerard). She will be missed by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved life, had a big heart and always had a beautiful smile. She loved helping others, cooking, sewing and visiting with family. Thérese had a passion for animals, especially her pets. Rest in peace - you will be missed and forever in our hearts. Thank you to all the kind nurses and doctors for their compassionate care at the hospice. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
