The family announces with sorrow his death in North Bay, Tuesday, June 4th, 2019, at the age of 83 years. Son of the late Herménégilde and of the late Alexandrine (née Pichette) Poirier. Loving husband of Simone Poirier (née Brouillette) of Lavigne. Dear father of Maurice Poirier, Martin Poirier, and Denise Ritter (Carl). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Johnathan, Caleb, and Alex. Brother of Marcel, Léo, Gracia, and Aimé. He is predeceased by his siblings Roger, Gabriel, Roland, Thérèse, Lucienne, Angelina, Simone and Cécile. The family will receive friends and family at the Théorêt-Bourgeois funeral home, Verner, Wednesday June 12th 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
