Delorme, Thérèse (née Daoust) 1930-2017
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Loving wife of the late Euclide Delorme. Daughter of the late Alcide Daoust and of the late Rosa (née Charron) Daoust. Loving mother of Marcel (Susan) of Béarn, Québec, Gaétan (Yolande) of Notre Dame du Nord, Québec, Rhéal (Suzanne) of Sturgeon Falls, Marie Young (Tim) of Brechin, Ontario, Louise Swift (David) of Simcoe, Normand (Diane) of Verner, Carmen Graham (Ron) of Orléans, Anne Lafond (Rhéal) of Sturgeon Falls, Gilles (Manon) of Verner and Yvon (Guylaine) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her daughter Denise Delorme. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Rev. Lucien Daoust, Joseph (late Rhéa Roy), Henri (late Rita Lemire), Léo (Yolande Delorme), Aurore Ladouceur (late Aldège), Simone (late Jack Webber), Jacqueline Dufresne (Henri), Yvette Daoust, Blanche Blais (late Rod) and Albert (late Jeannine Gingras). Many thanks and appreciation to the staff at Au Chateau for the wonderful care and a special thank you the Palliative Care Unit. The family will receive relatives and friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm, and Monday, August 14, 2017 after 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am, in Ste. Thérèse d’Avila Church, Cache Bay. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. (Cheques only).
